Obituary of Rita Ann McCambridge
It is with great sadness the family of Rita Ann (Daley) McCambridge, loving wife of the late David P. McCambridge, announce her passing, which occurred on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on September 6, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Catherine W. (Doherty) Daley. Rita was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a caring, compassionate, loyal woman with a great sense of humour. She was extremely generous and kind, and was loved by all who met her. She had a passion for playing cards, and enjoyed her Sunday BBQ’s with her family, or lounging in the sun, sipping on a refreshing drink. Rita is survived by her children Michael (Susan) McCambridge, Catherine (Leonard) Keizer, Mary (Gary) Dobson and Jo-Ann (Terry) Hurley; grandchildren Jennifer McCambridge (Jamie Bruce), Joseph (Natasha) Dobson, Shawna (James) Jason, Kevin Dobson, and Katie Rourke; great grandchildren Emmaleigh, Kayleigh, Rylee, Julee, Jake, Will, Evan, Zachary and Penny; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Leo, William, Harold and Douglas Daley; sisters Mary Ballard, Dorthey Bovaird and Madeline Daley. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
