Obituary of Nora Faye Wilson
The family of Nora Wilson, beloved wife of the late Bernard Wilson said goodbye to their loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Born on May 20, 1928 in Geary NB, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Agnes (Foss) Carr. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Nora is survived by her son, Dennis (Marilyn) of Kentville, NS; three daughters, Marlene McAuley (Roger), Sharon Brewer (John) and Dawn Wilson all of Saint John; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law; lifelong friend, Mary McLellan; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, husband and several siblings, she was also predeceased by her two sons, Claude and Dale. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
