Obituary of Cora Mable Amero
With great sadness the family of Cora Amero, wife of the late Chester Amero, announce her passing on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January 30, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Webster and Mable (Cook) Leavitt. Cora is survived by her sons: Monte Morrison (Robyn), Robin Amero (Maryanne), and Kevin Amero; daughters: Star Amero, Tanya Amero (Steve Buckley), Miste Young, and Shauna Amero (Rick Mulrooney); several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, including her special great-granddaughter, Isabelle; her sister, Blanche Leavitt; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Gilbert, Helen, Marcel, and Dutchie. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday and Friday, December 22 and 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 10 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Rocmaura Foundation Inc. would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
