Obituary of Susan M. Doucette

Doucette, Susan Mary – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Susan Doucette announces her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Upham, NB on June 26, 1944, she was the only child of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Legere) Curwin. She will be missed by her children, Jeff Hill (Sherry), Dawn Brown (Richard), Harvey Doucette (Theresa), Francis Doucette and Billy Doucette (Shawna); grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Joshua, Mark Patricia and Shyann; as well as all those whose lives she touched, especially the residents of Danells Drive. In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Doucette. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private celebration of Susan’s life will be held in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with visitation from 12:00 until service time. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or any charity of the donor’s choice.
