Obituary of Peggy Ann MacDonald
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peggy Ann MacDonald announces her passing, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Monday, October 30, 2017. Born in Saint John on November 7, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Hubert and Margaret (Evans) Ferris. Peggy will be missed by her daughter, Beth A. MacDonald; son Jason MacDonald (Catrina); grandchildren, Shane MacDonald (Lindsey), Liam MacDonald, and Prisscilla MacDonald; great grandchildren, Shaelyn, Ashton and Aliya; brothers Arnold and Richard Ferris (Dianne); sisters Shirley Robinson, Donna Ferris (Corey Williger), Lillian Moulton (Dale Chapman) and her chosen sisters Eileen Buckaway and Dianne Extell; In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her sister Carolyn Dempster and her mother-in-law, Mary MacDonald. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB(634-7424) with visitation on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 12:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or Lighthouse of Faith Church.
