Obituary of Loretta Jean Cormier
It is with great sadness the family of Loretta Jean (Carvell) Cormier announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 3, 2017. Born in Saint John on October 22, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Dorothy (Wilson) Carvell. Loretta will be sadly missed by her children: Paul and Michael (Shari) Cormier and Mary Ellen (Mike) Louvelle; grandchildren: Michael (Melyna) and Jeff (Natasha) Louvelle and Benjamin and Shae Cormier; great grandchildren: Olivia, Jade, Madison and Liam; cousins: Adelaide Rogerson, Patsy Titus, Ed Bates and Brian Wilson; uncle George Carvell; and extended family members John Holt and Sarah "Sally" Cusack. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Keeping with Loretta’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 12:00 PM from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon St., Saint John, NB with the interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in memory of Loretta may be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue, C.A.R.M.A. (Cat Rescue Maritimes) or St. Peter’s Building Fund.
