Obituary of Tyrell Brett Vail
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cpl. Tyrell Brett Vail who was affectionately known as "Boy". Born on June 2, 1990, he was the son of Brent and Julie Vail and brother of Cole Vail, all of Grand Bay-Westfield. In addition to his parents and brother, Tyrell is also survived by his fiancé, Sienna Potter; son, Declan; daughters, Caitlelynn and Delilah who is expected to arrive in June; grandparents, Eldon and Kay MacLean and Winnifred Vail (the late Arnie Vail); several cousins, aunts and uncles. Tyrell was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Engineering Corp. and was stationed in Greenwood, NS. His dream as a young cadet was to join the military and he was also passionate about boxing. Tyrell was a member of the Golden Gloves Boxing Club in Saint John and was an assistant coach at the Pegasus Boxing Club in Middleton, NS. Tyrell graduated from Saint John High School in 2009. His family and friends will miss his big smile and his witty outlook on life. Visiting will be held at Nerepis Baptist Church, 17 Poplar Road, Nerepis on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM and will be immediately followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In lieu of flowers, donations made to the trust fund for his three children - Support of the Vail Children c/o the Bank of Nova Scotia would be appreciated by the family.
