Obituary of Gary Wayne Wilson
It is with great sadness the family of Gary Wayne Wilson announce his unexpected passing on June 1st 2016. Born in Saint John Oct 9th 1946, Gary is survived by Linda C. Wilson, his loving wife of 45 years and by his children Dave Wilson (Nada), Allan Wilson (Lisa) and Cheryl McClintock (Craig), sisters Joan Smith and Norma McKinney, all of Saint John. Gary leaves behind several nieces, nephews and grandchildren Stephanie, Josh, Colby, Ethan, Adyn and Matthew. Gary was predeceased by his parents Roy E Wilson and Margaret (Frost) Wilson, infant brother Allan Wilson and bothers-in-law Hazen Smith, Stewart McKinney and Ronnie Wilson. Gary worked at Irving Paper for 44 years and spent much of his last few years in retirement tinkering in his garage, sharing a coffee at Tim's with dear friends, enjoying frequent family gatherings and befriending all things furry; he held a special place in his heart for animals, domesticated or otherwise. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In honour of his memory, take pause and cherish the special moments that time allows us with those we love.
