Obituary of Douglas Norvil Allen
Douglas N. Allen of Rothesay (formerly of Westfield), New Brunswick. He was the son of the late Clarence L. and Grace C. (Duplisea) Allen and husband of the late Constance S. Allen. Doug is survived by his daughter, Kathryn (William) and his son, David (Susan); four grandchildren, Sara Jayne (Chantal), David (Crystal), Bradley (Sarah) and Elizabeth (Brendan); six great-grandchildren, Lukas, Cole, McKinley, Sawyer, Olivia and Remi; three brothers and three sisters, Frederick (Mary), Donald (Nancy), Edward (Linda), Gwendolyn (the late Frank), Eloise (the late Robert) and Marcia (Nick); as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Mahlon (Dubby) and Kenneth.
In keeping with Doug’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
