Obituary of Ralph Andrew Raymond
It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Raymond of Saint John, husband of the late Mary (Smith) Raymond announces his passing, which occurred on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Parkland Saint John. Born on July 16, 1927 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Andrew and Inez (Ross) Raymond. Prior to his retirement, Ralph was employed as a Pipefitter with the City of Saint John and was also a Longshoreman. After retirement, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ralph is survived by one son, Andrew Raymond (Susan) and two daughters, Cindy Weaver (Dwaine) and Mary Lynn Raymond (John) all of Saint John; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Sean, Jill, Gillian, Lynn, Erin and Jared; nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hailey, Xander, Khoal, Khaison, Paisley, Maliki, Morgan and Logan; sister, Joan Brenton (Doug); as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Ralph was also predeceased by his brothers, Hazen and Weldon. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street, Saint John on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in St.Joseph`s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NB.
