Obituary of Jack Bernard Fillmore
With heavy hearts, the family of Jack Fillmore, husband of Beryl Fillmore, announce his passing on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 4, 1938, he was a son of the late William and Madeline (Evans) Fillmore. Jack served in the Armed Forces with the 3rd Regiment Artillery from 1958 to 1967. He was a retired member of Local 213 Plumbers and Pipefitters. In addition to his loving wife, Beryl, Jack is survived by his sons: Stephen (Sandra), Wayne (Melanie), Douglas, and Brian; daughter, Linda; grandchildren: Matthew, Kara, Jaclyn, Courteney, and Grace; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Madison; and sisters, Diane Hebert (Raymond) and Linda Speight (Richard). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Betty and Sally; brothers: Louis, David, and Billy; and 5 infant siblings. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no visiting or funeral service. A private family graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com.
