Obituary of Richard Guy Palmer

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard Guy Palmer of Saint John, NB on February 16th, 2019. Richard was a beautiful soul. He appreciated creativity and was a writer and a poet. He enjoyed music, art and literature. He was undeniably charming and had a wonderful sense of humour. Richard was warm, generous and kind-hearted. He was incredibly proud of his children as they were his greatest gift. He taught them to be good to others, to never pass judgement, to forgive, to live passionately and to love deeply. His beautiful spirit will live on in his children who in their own way each have special qualities that are reminiscent of their Dad. Richard will be mourned by his mother Bernice Langford, his children Tasha, Clayton, Justin, Sheldon, Jakhan, and Tanner, his grandchildren Taj, Gabe, Gavin and Bella, his beloved sisters and brothers, and his many friends and loved ones. Richard was predeceased by his stepfather Glidden Langford. A memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John) on Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity close to your heart.
