Obituary of George A. Brown
The passing of George "Tommy" Brown occurred on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 13, 1950 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Ronald D. and Mary A. (Adams) Brown. Prior to his 27 year career with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, George served in the Army Reserves. He was also very crafty and could build just about anything, using supplies and his imagination. George is survived by his niece, Samantha; cousin, Kim Cobbett; and several other cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters: Linda Soucy Brown and Lois Beyea Brown. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Legion Tribute Service will be held during visiting at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 9:30 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
