Obituary of Lorie Lee Pitt
With heavy hearts, the family of Lorie Lee Pitt announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, April 7, 2017. Born February 7, 1960 in Saint John, she was a daughter of Peter and Lorraine (Pevlin) Pitt. Lorie was a life-long resident of Saint John. She attended Simonds High School and graduated from NBCC’s Business Administration program. She enjoyed going to the theatre, and loved spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her loving parents, Lorie is survived by her beloved only daughter, Stefanie Richard (Jesse Wilson); sisters: Susan McKinnon (Tom) and Linda Tremblay (Danny); brother, Mac Pitt (Lisa); nieces and nephews: Amy Robinson (Andrew), James and Michael Tremblay, and Megan and Daniel Hobbs. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Doug Sewell. The family would like to thank Lorie’s friends at the SJRH Dialysis Unit, Dr. Krantz, and so many other dedicated health care professionals she had throughout her life. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11 am from Glen View United Church, 8 Upland Road, Saint John. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
