Obituary of Julia Emmeline Landry
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Julia Emmeline Landry, loving wife to the late Emile "Ted" Landry, announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Turnbull Nursing Home. She was born on November 14, 1927 to the late Paul and Jerusha (Ashe) Jensen. Julia was a long-time member of Stone Church. She loved nothing more than being with her church family and her involvement with all of the goings on around the church. Julia had an artistic way about her; she enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting and reading. Julia is survived by her family, her children: Donald (Louella) Landry and James (Theresa) Landry, her grandchildren: Elizabeth, Adam, Nicholas, Patrick, Matthew and Andrew Landry, her sister Pauline DeBow, her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husband Ted, Julia is predeceased by her brother-in-law Clarence DeBow. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8. A funeral service will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 30 at 12 PM. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension at a later date.
