Obituary of Wilma Eunice Stuart
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wilma Eunice Stuart announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at The Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Wilma was born on January 26, 1925 in Harvey Bank, Albert County, NB; she was the daughter of the late Crandall and Helena Long and a loving wife to the late James Reginald Stuart. Wilma was a very loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing 45’s and doing embroidery work and word searches, but most of all she loved spending time with her great grandchildren; In addition to her son, Wendell (Leona) Stuart, she is survived by her grandchildren Michael (Vanessa) Stuart, Tracy Stuart, great grandchildren Alyssa and Paige Stuart along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Osborne and Murray Long, and sister Myrtle Secord. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will take place on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday October 25 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, October 26 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Chapel, with interment to follow at Bay View Cemetery, Albert County. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
