Obituary of Isaac Paul Rhynard
Isaac "Smiley" Paul Rhynard, passed away on April 25, 2016 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 5, 1947, in Doaktown, NB, he was a son of Anna (Rhynard) and the late Grégoire Basque. Besides his mother Anna, he is survived by his children Ernest Rhynard, Saint John; Anne Rhynard-Dunn (Robert), Grand Bay; step-son, Brice Forsythe, Saint John; sisters, Dorinda (Iven) Parker, Doaktown; Betty-Lou (Wayne) LeBlanc, Storytown; James Rhynard, Blackville; Gregory (Shirley) Swinimer, Doaktown; Lawrence (Rita) Swinimer, Doaktown; Patrick (Anna-Mae) Basque, Doaktown; Douglas Swinimer (Sasha), Saskatchewan; grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Joshua, Jozeph, Kaydyn, Devin and Hope; great grandchildren, Aria and Mason; many nieces and nephews. Isaac was predeceased by his father,Grégoire Basque, in 2010 and by his best friend, Vincent Comeau in 2014. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visitation on Thursday, April 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM. For those who wish, donations in memory of Isaac may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
