Obituary of Annette Marie Maher
Annette Marie Maher passed away on April 4, 2016 comfortably and quietly at home. Born on May 27, 1964, in Saint John she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Lecouter. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Maher of 38 years, one daughter, Amanda (Tim) Maher; grandchildren, Brayden, Justine, Keelan, Benjamin, Zoey, and Parker; siblings, Ann, Susan, Danny, Norman (Margaret) and Monique (Greg); grandmother, Theresa Hachey; mother-in-law, Margret ("Smitty") Smith, St. John’s NFLD; brothers-in-law, Wayne Maher, Mount Pearl NFLD; Robert Maher, California; sister-in-law, Joanne, New Westminster; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her grandfather Edgar Hachey; father-in-law, Edward Maher, St. John NFLD; brothers-in-law; Allan Turrett Sr. and Percy "Junior" Cook and two fury friends Cassie and Sadie. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday, April 7, 2016 for 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral liturgy will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on April 8, 2016, at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to SPCA Animal Rescue League or to Children’s Wish Foundation.
