Obituary of Carol Anne Murphy

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Anne (Sands) Murphy, wife of the late Peter John Murphy, announces her passing, which occurred on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 14, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Laurence and Audrey (Brown) Sands. Carol will be missed by her children, Darren Stanley (Beth), Crissy Stanley (Leo), Shelly Stanley (Stephane) and Robbie Stanley (Melony); grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, Brock and Jax Stanley, Lauren, Brooke and Shayla Benson, and Jessica and Jillian Cahill; a great grandson, Jackson Fortier; brothers, Paul Sands (Christine), Danny Sands and Kevin Sands (Deanna); sisters, Elaine Ayles (Kevin) and Donna Sands (Daniel); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visiting on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 12:00 pm from Our Lady of the Assumption, 360 Dufferin Row, Saint John. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Norton, NB. In lieu of flowers, contributions to PRO Kids Saint John or the Boys and Girls Club would be appreciated.
