Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Steen
It is with heavy hearts the family of Elizabeth Ann (Chamberlain) Steen, announce her passing on January 11, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 23, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Alphonse Chamberlain and Della (Chamberlain) Black and step daughter of the late Cecil Black. Elizabeth was devoted to her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her son, Michael Campbell (Yvette Roy) of Saint John and daughter, Laura-Lee Sutton of Calgary; siblings: June (George) McDonald of Orangeville, ON, Jim (Audrey) Chamberlain of Grand Bay-Westfield, and Max (Marion) Chamberlain of Trenton, ON; grandchildren, Meagan Sutton (Justin Lohnes) and Curtis Campbell (Gabrielle Pye); great grandchildren: Jackson, James and Benjamin; special friends, Betty Bourgeois, Linda Legere and Brenda Best; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Jim Campbell and second husband Brian Steen; and siblings: Pat, Alphonse, Lloyd, Fred, Bob, Bernie and Wally. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice and online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
