Obituary of Murray Ralph Calder
It is with great sadness the family of Murray R. Calder of Quispamsis, husband of Dawn (Ritchie) Calder, announce his sudden passing which occurred on June 2, 2016. Murray was born in Springhill, NS on September 6, 1952 and was a son of the late Irvine and Lois (McLeod) Calder. He was employed in the trucking industry for many years and enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and fishing. Murray is survived by his wife Dawn, three sons: Jamie (Steph) of Ottawa, Jason (Glenna) of Port Hood, NS and Jeffrey (Brittany) of Quispamsis; two beautiful daughters: Jill Calder of Rothesay and Emily Foster of Quispamsis; special stepdaughter Angela Caissie (Donald) of Hampton, NB; two brothers: Doug (Marlene) of Amherst, NS and Bill (Anne) of Grand Cashe, Alberta; four sisters: Charlene MacCallum (Kenny) of Truro, NS, Sandra Siddall (David) of New Glasgow, NS, Marilyn (Doll) McDonald (Jack) and Karen Bryan (Rod) both of Spring Hill, NS; ten grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Although there will be no funeral service friends and relatives are welcome to visit on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm. For those that wish donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
