Obituary of Eveline Anne Stevens
It is with great sadness that the family of Eveline Stevens of Saint John, cherished wife of Harold Stevens announces her unexpected passing, which occurred on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home. Born on June 16, 1952 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Cecile (Richard) Boudreau of Fredericton and the late Arthur Boudreau. Eveline devoted her life to caring for the needs of her family and treasured the times spent with those she loved. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Eveline had a keen mind for crosswords and Sudoko and also loved gardening and playing Zelda. She enjoyed her time spent volunteering with the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation and will be sadly missed. Besides her husband and mother, Eveline is also survived by her daughters, Shera Stevens (Scott) and Tracy Stevens (Adam) all of Saint John; precious grandson, Dylan Stevens; brothers, Michael (Diana), Norman (Rose), Dennis (Denise), Bernard (Yvonne) and Ronald (Heather); sisters, Theresa, Paulette (James), Lorraine (Brian) and Suzanne; as well as several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish, 135 Simpson Drive, Saint John on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 12:00 Noon.
