Obituary of Louise Cecilia Brennan

It is with a sense of gratitude for a life well lived, that the family of Louise Brennan announces her peaceful passing which occurred on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home. She was born in Saint John, November 23, 1929 and was a widow of the late William Brennan and daughter of the late Alexander and Loretta (Arsenault) Burke. Surviving are her daughters: Clara (John) Lariviere of Ontario, Louise LaCroix, Barbara Sandner and Loretta Derrah all of Saint John, her son William (Dawn) Brennan of Ontario, her brother Vincent Burke of Ontario, sister Elizabeth (Reggie) Marks, her grandchildren: Stephen (Karen) LaCroix, Ricky LaCroix (Michelle), Joseph Sandner (Vinny), Corey Sandner, Jason Brennan, Cody Brennan, Kyle King (Hope), James Derrah and Jenna Derrah, her great grandsons: Darren Cook LaCroix and Mason King along with several nieces and nephews and her best friend Mary Ann Gilks. Besides her parents and husband, William, Louise was predeceased by her 3 infants: Alexander, Stanley and Ann Marie, her brothers: Frank, William, George, James Burke, her sisters: Mary Alice, Theresa and Mary Burke, Alma Bourgeouis and son-in-law Joseph Sandner. A special thanks to the nurses from Extra-mural, Melene and Shelly, your care, compassion and kindness will not be forgotten. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Louise’s wishes there will not be visitation or a funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Extra Mural Program or to a charity of donor’s choice.
