Obituary of Dianne Marie Thibodeau
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dianne Marie Thibodeau, loving wife of the late Christian Thibodeau, announces her passing which occurred on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1928 and was a daughter to the late Sylvester and Elizabeth (Finnigan) Despres. Dianne loved bowling. She was a member of the Tuesday Afternoon Bowling League for over 10 years. When she wasn’t bowling, she was playing BINGO, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by her children: Gordon (Linda) Thibodeau, Gary (Cathy) Thibodeau, Nancy (Bruce) Elder, Johanna (Willie) Cyr and Karen Thibodeau (Ron Savoie), her 8 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters and her siblings: Pat Despres, Fernand Despres, Bernice LaPointe and Lorraine LeBlanc, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Christian, Dianne was predeceased by 7 other siblings. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 28 at 12 PM from St. Ann’s Church, 135 Simpson Drive. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Bobby’s Hospice.
