Obituary of Marie Agnes Little
Marie Agnes (McGraw) Little of Saint John, wife of the late Douglas Little passed away peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Born on March 6, 1934 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florence (Lowney) McGraw. Marie is survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Little (Dawn); sister-in-law, Ester (Gallant) McGraw and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Peggy, Nellie, Flo, Kay, Mary Ann, Joe, Fred and Bill. Prior to her retirement, Marie had worked at CN and Brinks. She also served as president of the 656 Brunswick Drive Apartments for many years. Marie’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home (Garden Court) for the care, love and compassion that was shown towards her. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 12:10 PM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A reception will take place at 656 Brunswick Drive (in the hall/community room) at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
