Obituary of Colette Alberte Justason

It is with great sadness the family of Colette Alberte (Michaud) Justason, loving wife of the late Leonard P. Justason, announce her passing, which occurred on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on June 20, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Yvonne (Beaulieu) Michaud. Colette had a passion for karaoke and could often be found enjoying that passion with her husband Leonard. She also enjoyed dedicating her time to being a foster parent and gave many children a supportive, caring environment throughout the years. Colette is survived by her children Anthony, Robert and Dorina Justason and Angela Byers-Galloway; brothers Claude (Laura), Guy (Sue) and Richard (Sherrie) Michaud; sisters Rita Beaulieu and Linda Michaud; grandchildren: Caleb, Roman, Alicia, Kristen, Ashley, Jaclyn, Shannon and Cody; and several other members of her extended family. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 12 PM to 2 PM, with a memorial service beginning in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Colette may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NB.
