Obituary of Donna Marie Sully
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donna Marie (Evans) Sully announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, July 21, 2017, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William George and Jennie (Knox) Evans. Donna loved spending time with her family and friends. She had worked several years in the credit office at MRA's and was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Women's League, serving as president and past-president. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 44 years, Tom; her daughters Kim (Frank) Magee and Tracy (Scott) Craig; her son Jason Sully (Corry Toole); her sister, Myrna Drew; brother, Don (Dale) Evans; sister, Cathy Cooper; sisters-in-law, Dianne Evans and Wendy Sully; several nieces and nephews. Donna will be especially missed by her grandchildren Parker, Renee, and Daryl. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brothers George and Bernard Evans. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of 3D South, Dr. Luan Le, and the Hemodialysis Department for the special care given to Donna. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Monday, July 24 from 2 pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street, Saint John, NB on Tuesday, July 25 at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.
