Obituary of Rosemary Theresa Mellor
Rosemary Mellor, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on January 8, 1947 in Saint John, she was a daughter of Frederick "Ned" and the late Celina (LeBlanc) Landry. Rose enjoyed playing bingo and traveling but best of all she loved to shop. She worked many years at Zellers and in later years she worked in the City Market. She loved her family especially the times spent with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Robert Mellor (Mike Wilson); Randall Mellor (Heather Bouffard); both of Saint John; Richard (Mary) Mellor, Hampton; grandchildren, Thomas, Paul, Christina, Sarah, and Brianne; great grandchildren, Jadon , Shyla, and Steven; brothers, Frederick (Rita) Landry, Donald Landry both of Saint John; sisters Patricia (Roger) Oland; Carol (Douglas) Brooks and Dale ( Wilfred "Jr"), all of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Rose. Rose’s family would like to thank the staff of Bobby’s Hospice for making her comfortable during her stay. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 13 from 2-4 and 6-8. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Chapel, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Bobby’s Hospice.
