Obituary of Marjorie Evelyn Greer

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie Evelyn (Lincoln) Greer, wife of the late Ford Greer, announce her passing, which occurred on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by her family. Born on July 10, 1941, in Collingwood, ON, she was a daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Atkinson) Lincoln. Marjorie enjoyed knitting and embroidering. She spent many hours knitting hundreds of hats to be donated to the hospital for the newborns. Her greatest love however was her family. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her children: Patty Campbell (Dave), Tony Greer (Lori), Mary Greer (Beth Lee); granddaughter, Liddy Greer; sister, Alberta Ross; along with many nieces, nephews and other members of her extended family; as well as her feline companion, Maizie. . Besides her husband and parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her siblings: Bryce Lincoln (Thelma) and Lois Beaudet (Andy) and brother-in-law, Leroy Ross. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff, doctors and nurses from both Bobby’s Hospice and the Oncology Department for their compassionate and loving care. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) Keeping with the families wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Marjorie may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
