Obituary of Mary M. Thompson
Thompson, Mary M. ? Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Mary Margaret (Cummings) Thompson of Milford, wife of the late Wendell Thompson, on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sunnyside, Cape Breton, she was a daughter of Lillian (Smith) and the late Gregory Cummings. Mary was employed in the housekeeping dept. at Centracare until her retirement. She is survived by one daughter Deborah (Ray) LeBlanc of Saint John; one brother Robert (Violet) Cummings of Oromocto; three grandchildren Nicole (Shawn) Stevens, Amanda (Leon) Breau, Dustin Thompson, four great-grandchildren Devan and Mariah Breau, Jacob and Nicholas Stevens, sisters and brothers- in- law, several nieces and nephews, close friends Barb McCann and Bob Collette. Besides her husband and father, she was predeceased by one son Bernard and one grandson Bernard Wendell. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 & 24, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 25, 2005 from St. Rose of Lima Church at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
