Obituary of Harry A. Bradley
The death of Harry Alexander Bradley of Ketepec Road, Saint John, husband of the late Mary Rose (McDevitt) Bradley, occurred on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at his residence. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late James P. and Hazel L. (Watters) Bradley. Mr. Bradley was formerly employed with City Transit, Airport Service with Quigg's and Arthur's Express. He was a veteran of World War II where he was a prisoner of war, while serving with the Canadian Army. He is survived by four sons; Kenneth (Rose) of Saint John, Kevin at home, Harry Jr. and Eddie both of Shelbourne, NS, one daughter; Theresa (Betty) Harris (Peter) of Saint John, two brothers; Kenneth (Evelyn) of Ketepec and Arthur of Alberta, one sister; Hazel Murphy of Chipman, three half-sisters; Valarie Martin, Marion Hamilton and Carolyn Whitebone all of Saint John, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Anne Ross. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 1:00 PM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a tribute to a Veteran Service on Thursday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
