Obituary of Evelyn R. Hill

The death of Evelyn R. Hill of Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, wife of the late Jake Hill, occurred on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at her residence. Born in North Sydney, NS, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte (Poole) Robson. Mrs. Hill received the honor as “Volunteer of the Year” at Carleton-Kirk and she also volunteered playing the piano at many Nursing Homes in the Saint John area. She was a teacher to the young and the old alike, teaching music and piano to everyone until her failing health over the past few months. She is survived by many grand nephews and nieces. Resting at Rocmaura Nursing Home Chapel, Burpee Avenue, Saint John, with visiting on Friday 1:30-2:30 PM. Funeral will he held at the Rocmaura Nursing Home Chapel on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 2:30 PM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
