Obituary of Clement John Goulding
The death of Clement “Clem' John Goulding, husband of Charlotte (Strong) Goulding, occurred on July 2, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chambers Hospital. Born in Gambo, NF, he was the son of the late Garland and Esther (Bursey) Goulding. He served overseas during WWII with the Royal Navy. He was employed as a mechanic with Lantic Sugar before his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69, the Randolph Senior Citizens Club and was a long time member of Portland United Church. He enjoyed his cottage and gardening. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Gary and his wife Pauline of the Cambridge Narrows, his daughter Jessie 'Jay' and her husband Lloyd Moores of Salisbury, NB, his last surviving brother Job and his wife Rowena of Gambo, NF, his granddaughters Keri-Ann, Brandy, Justine, grandsons Lewis, Gary, great-granddaughter Emily and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at 2:00 pm, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Field of Honour. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
