Obituary of Lillian Lenora Bussey
The death of Lillian Lenora Bussey formerly of Margaret Street, Saint John, wife of the late John Bussey, occurred on Monday, December 27, 2004 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Tracey, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel (Fletcher) Lord. Mrs. Bussey was a School Teacher for over 30 years before her retirement in 1974. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, the Order of the Eastern Star and was an active member of St. John's (Stone) Church and their A.C.W. She is survived by two daughters, Lynne Corey (Canon Wally) of Saint John and Jean Smyth (John) of Thornhill, ON, five grandchildren, Valerie, Jonathan, Andrew, David and Elizabeth, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Charles Lord and one sister, Lois Fletcher. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. John's (Stone) Church on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to St. John's (Stone) Church or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
