Obituary of Kathleen Lillian Stewart
The death of Kathleen 'Lillian' Stewart, wife of the late James C. Stewart, occurred on June 18, 2004, at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Percy Hannington and Muriel (Galbraith) Betts. She enjoyed bingo and traveling and took great pride in her family especially her great-granddaughter. She is survived by her sons Stephen and his wife Debra of West Quaco, Ronald and his wife Susan of Saint John, her daughters Helen and her husband Ernest Harrity of Saint John, Susan Stewart of Hong Kong, Karen and her husband Patrick Burchill of Saint John, her grandchildren Corey, Justin, Christopher, Shyla, Kristy, Carrie and Kellie, her great-granddaughter Jenna and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Betts. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at 2:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
