Obituary of Leota Pearl Carr

The death of Leota Pearl Carr of the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home, Saint John, occurred on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Francis Howard and Bessie (McCluskey) Carr. Miss Carr was employed with the Lancaster D.V.A. Hospital for many years and then the Saint John Regional Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of Centenary Queen Square United Church and will be sadly missed. She is survived by cousin Audrey Arthurs and her family, several other cousins and one nephew, David Carr of British Columbia. She was predeceased by one brother, James Carr and one sister, Patricia Wilson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
