Obituary of Arthur Vincent White
The death of Arthur 'Vincent' White, husband of Delta (Barr) White, occurred peacefully on January 16, 2005, surrounded by his family at the Kennebec Manor. Born in Sussex, NB, he was the son of the late Charles Percy and Eva (Cobham) White. He enjoyed working with his hands and was an electrician by trade having been employed with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. and with the family firm Whyte Electric Company Ltd. He was a long time resident of Millidgeville. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and trailering and family time with his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Kevin and his wife Irene, Shelley Laskey, Kristen and her husband Mark Lamb and Charles, all of Saint John, his seven grandchildren, his uncles, cousins and extended relatives. Following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), there will be a memorial service on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at 11:00 AM, from Main Street Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
