Obituary of George William King

The death of George William King of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Helen (Marcinkowski) King, occurred on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John a son of the late Louis Joseph and Laura Kathleen (McDermott) King, George had been employed as an attendant at St. Jospeh's Hospital, Toronto. Survived by his adopted daughter, Kathleen Anne King of Chatsworth, ON; six brothers, Louis Jr., Walter, Murray, Robert, Gary and Wayne; three sisters, Rene, Diane and Brenda; brothers-in-law, Edward Parks, Alan Price and Ralph Dorbyson Sr.; sisters-in-law, Margaret, Marilyn, Janet, Linda and Wendy; many nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sisters, Rhoda and Gladys and brother-in-law, Ted. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 from 9-11 am followed by the Funeral Service, celebrated at 11 am from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will be held on Thursday at 10 am in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
