Obituary of Alvin H. Vickers
The death of Alvin H. Vickers, husband of Annabel Vickers, occurred on Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of Gladys (Goodine) Vickers of Fredericton and the late Hayward Vickers. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Monarch Construction Ltd. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and carpentry. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two daughters Tammy Joy Chamberlain (Richard) of Miramichi City, Carrie-Anne Bourque (Billy) of Jemseg, two sons, J.D. Wayne Bourque (Misty) of Edmonton, AB, and Lee McNulty of Quispamsis, one brother Byron (Beatrice) of Moncton, one sister Sharon Vickers of Fredericton, his grandchildren Natasha, Gregory, Rebecca, J.J. (John), Calvin, Bradley, Chelsey and Chloe and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son Anthony Hayward and an infant sister Cheryl Lorraine. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 20, 2005, at 2:15 PM. Following cremation interment will take place at the Blackville Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
