Obituary of Katherine Laurie Brideau
The death of Katherine Laurie “Kathy” Brideau of Mecklenburg Street, Saint John, wife of Gilbert A. Brideau, occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 24, 1963, she was the daughter of Katherine (Brookins) Marr of Saint John and the late James Marr. Kathy was employed with Kate-Lyn Courier in the Payroll Department. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Wayne Brideau and Christopher Edward Brideau, both at home, three brothers, Wayne Douglas Marr, Donald Malcolm Marr (Rhonda) and Ronald Edward Marr (Tina) all of Saint John, sister-in-law Lorrieanne Marr of Saint John, one granddaughter, Brooklyn Joan Kennedy-Brideau, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Patrick James Marr in January 2005. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
