Obituary of Percy Henry Craft
Percy Henry Craft passed away suddenly to a better world on January 14, 2005. For the past few years he was a resident of the Loch Lomond Villa. Many thanks to all those who helped make his life as happy and comfortable as possible. He was predeceased by parents Clara and Merritt Craft of West Saint John. He is survived by his sister Rosemary of Owens Sound, ON, and his brother Edward of Dartmouth, NS. In the late 40's and early 50's he was an avid fan of the Saint John Beavers and the Forum Wrestling Matches. He frequented Freddie's Pool Hall, the Star Restaurant and the Community Theatre during the old days on the Westside. He was employed with the Metropolitan Stores on King Street and in Charlottetown and Halifax. He joined the Army and served as a Medical Assistant in post-war Korean. Now, having followed the light he has been welcomed by friends and relatives on the other side where Eternal Peace and happiness awaits us all. Cremation, under the direction of Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), has taken place followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
