Obituary of Kenneth David Richardson
The death of Kenneth David Richardson of Mystery Lake Drive, Saint John, occurred on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Lubec, Maine in 1939, he was the son of Frances (Henward) and the late Kenneth Richardson of Deer Island, NB. He was employed at the Saint John Dry Dock for 25 years. He is survived by his best friend and partner, Diane Button, one son, Steven (Rose) of Titusville, two daughters, Brenda (Jody) of Upham , Tracey of Toronto and their mother, Margaret. Also his extended family, Debbie Button of Saint John, Darrell, Nancy and Jeffrey Button of Dartmouth, NS and Joanne, Jerry, Melissa, Katherine and Jessica Fowler of Ripples, NB; one brother, Charlie of Kinsclear, NB, one sister, Elaine (Sonny) of New Hampshire, grandchildren, Calum, Kody, Jennifer, Robin, Kristina, Brandon, Nicholas and Joel, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his favourite companion, Holly the cat. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved his cheerful laugh and sparkling eyes. At Kenny's request there will be no visiting. A private family service will be held at a later date. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
