Obituary of Doris Lorraine Nickerson

The death of Doris Lorraine Nickerson, formerly of Charleton Place and currently of Park Street Ext., occurred on June 28, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Head of Millstream, she was the daughter of the late Harry Everett and Zelma H. (Barton) Nickerson. She was employed with G. E. Barbour and retired from the School Board after 22 years of service. She was a member of Portland United Church. She is survived by her daughter Joanne Charlton of Saint John, her grandchildren Rob, Bryant, Chris, Timmie, Heather, Lisa, Leanne, Lori, Emily and Andrew, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Robert A. and Budd A. Nickerson. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), the graveside service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004, at 10:00 AM, at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Neurology Department or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
