Obituary of Reginald Jarvis Hare
The sudden death of Reginald Jarvis Hare, of 59 Old Reach Road, Kingston, NB, husband of Shirley (Armstrong) Hare, occurred on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late William B. and Willa P. (Hubbard) Hare. Reg was employed at the Irving Oil Refinery for over 30 years and he enjoyed his job and his co-workers. He enjoyed his home and spending time gardening. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ben at home, one daughter, Kelly Hare (Tim Hickey) of Summerville, one brother, Ronald Hare (Louisa) of Kingston, NB four sisters, Wanda Quigley (Doug) of Kingston, Sandra Worden (Tom) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Jean McCurdy (Myles) of Sussex and Marilyn Hare of Saint John, three grandchildren, Julie, Amy and Mary Claire Hickey, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant brothers, Wayne Richard and Brent William. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Kingston Baptist Church on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 2:30 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place at Kingston Baptist Cemetery. Remembrances to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
