Obituary of Patricia Mary Patten
The death of Patricia “Pat” Mary Patten of 83 Turnbull Place, Saint John, wife of the late Gerald Patten, occurred on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Jean Frances (Humphrey) Dowd. Pat was a Patient Service Worker at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 21 years and was a member of St. Pius X Church. She is survived by three sons, Daniel (Kate) of Peterborough, ON, Robert (Kim) of Rothesay and Rick (Brandy) of Saint John, two daughters, Shawn Riel (Kerry) of Peterborough, ON and Tammy Muzzerall (Marks) of Saint John, three brothers, William Dowd (Joan), Bruce Dowd (Dianne) and Terry Dowd (Rosella) all of Saint John, four sisters, Marilyn Boyce (John), Maureen Keenan (Michael), Nancy Dowd (Rob) and Cindy McKenna (Tom) all of Saint John, 13 grandchildren, Matt, Luke, Alicia, Brailynn, Danielle, Kyle, Brady, Jason, Autumn, Becca, Stewart, Daniel and Jessica, several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street, Saint John on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
