Obituary of Alphonse Joseph Albert
The death of Alphonse Joseph Albert, of Wren Street, Saint John, husband of the late Germaine Marie Albert, occurred on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Caraquet, NB, he was the son of the late Theophile and Marie Albert. Alphonse was a Longshoreman at the Saint John Port for many years before his retirement. He is survived by daughters, Rosella, Grace and Viola and their husbands, sons, Larry and Joe, and their wives, two brothers, Emile of Sarnia, ON and Fred of Caraquet, NB, one sister, Germaine also of Caraquet, NB, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and Gervais and two sisters, Emma and Estelle. By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 9:00 AM. Following cremation, interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
