Obituary of Lloyd Taylor McCullough
The death of Lloyd McCullough of Turnbull Place, Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 16th, 2004. Born in Bocabec, NB, he was the son of the late Matthew and Caroline “Carrie” (Hansen) McCullough. Lloyd was a veteran serving in World War II. Lloyd loved sports and was an avid racetrack fan, card player and since 1965 was a daily City Market visitor. Lloyd is survived by daughter, Caroline Green of Saint John, NB; two sons, Sean (Linda) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB and Paul (Karen) of Moncton, NB; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Scott, Sarah, Carrie-Joe, Ronald, Patricia and Ian; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kyle, Madison and Lexie; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five sisters, Catherine, Fay, Fern, Louise and Hattie; four brothers, Milton, Delbert, Roy and Cecil. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion will be holding a tribute on Friday at 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 19th, 2004 at 1:00 pm from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Following cremation, interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Monday, June 21st, 2004 at 2:00 pm. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
