Obituary of Glen D. Gregory
The death of Glen Dalton Gregory of Willow Grove, husband of the late Annie (Watts) Gregory, occurred on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late George and Kaye (Van Horne) Gregory. Glen had served in World War II and the Korean Conflict in the Royal Canadian Engineer Corps for 28 years. He was employed with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires at the Saint John Harbour Bridge, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, reading and driving throughout the countryside. He is survived by one son David G. (Brenda Lovely) Gregory of Saint John, two daughters Pat (Brett) Stubbert of Willow Grove and Nancy (Mike Jordan) Lewis of Saint John, one brother Buddy (Ursula) Gregory of Saskatoon, two sisters Kaye Carson and Margaret Wagner both of BC, five grandchildren Glen, Jennifer, Tabitha, Adam, Tricia, several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by brothers Basil and Ray. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Friday, August 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery Field of Honour. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. There will be a Royal Canadian Legion Tribute Service on Friday at 7:00 pm.
