Obituary of C. Elizabeth Moore

The death of Miss C. Elizabeth Moore occurred on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at her residence, Carleton Kirk Nursing Home, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Edward R. and the late Jessie M. (Willis) Moore. She had been employed with the National Drug Company and for several years with Anderson Insurance before retiring. She and her sister attended Main Street Baptist Church and later was a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She and her sister enjoyed several trips to the States, Ontario and New Brunswick; declining health restricted their traveling and soon brought it to an end. She was predeceased by her sister Bertha, her roommate at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home, on September 12, 2004. Survived by her sister-in-law, Jane Moore of London, ON; her nephew, Doug Moore of London and her niece, Linda Bowan of Alliston, ON. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. At her request there will not be visiting or a funeral service. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 there will be a private graveside service at Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
