Obituary of Gerald L. Bennett
The death of Gerald L. Bennett occurred suddenly on February 27, 2005 at his residence, on Charlotte Street, Saint John. Born in Advocate, NS, on May 29th, 1948, he was the son of Howard I. and Laura Mae (Robinson) Bennett. He is survived by his brothers Wayne (Elaine) of Quispamsis, William (Marilyn) of Baxter's Corner, Larry of Canal, NB, his sisters Threasa Henwood (Charles) of Eastern Passage, NS, Geneva Bennett of Saint John, Loretta Bennett of Ottawa and several aunts, uncles, cousins, 13 nieces and nephews, 3 Grand niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant sister Rhonda (1966) and his older brother Gary (1969). The unexpected death of his brother Robert of Summerside, PEI, occurred on March 3, 2005 and the family will hold a combined visitation and funeral service. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 1:00 PM, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place in Fraserville Cemetery, Advocate, NS, in the spring.
